I’ve been where you are: Leading a busy and full life as a young professional woman. I was successful in many areas, but unsuccessful in leading a healthy lifestyle. I used my knowledge in internal medicine and functional medicine to help nourish my mind and my body. I can help guide you to do the same. 

Whatever journey you chose to get yourself healthy, I provide the support and accountability you need to help you succeed.

Val is an amazing health coach, who is incredibly easy to talk to. She has helped me better understand my emotional, mental and physical health and well-being. I’ve had other health coaches in the past who weren’t doctors but they didn’t really make me feel better. Val’s process really works for me. Other health coaches just look at your diet but Val actually listens to you and everything you say and she looks at your body language. She looks at you holistically and I think her medical training comes in handy.

Val has helped me through several bouts of career uncertainties and insecurities as well as family stress, which have manifested in lack of sleep, low energy/fatigue, and GI issues. She was really instrumental in helping me realize that I need to listen to my body and re-assess the stresses in life and how to manage them. She’s helped in staying consistent with both nutrition/diet changes and lifestyles changes and she’s helped me with mental health strategies that have positively impacted my overall well-being. Having someone to interpret, echo, reflect upon and confront personal issues more deeply offered me a new perspective on my wellness, and helped spur real action towards improving my work/life balance. Your coaching offered the opportunity to put concrete words to what had otherwise been more abstract feelings or frustrations I hadn't voiced, which helped to untangle deeply ingrained habits that I want to change. Being mid-career and reaching a point in my life where I wanted to work on ways to center myself, this gave me an outlet to be intentional with my self-improvement goals through a forum of honesty, openness, and new insights via Val's deft lens.
