As a coach and a physician juggling the chaos of life, I get it – finding time for ourselves can feel like a distant dream. But hey, let's take a moment to appreciate the fact that we're here, healthy, and ready to conquer the world.

This holiday season, I've been pondering on what I'm most grateful for, and you know what's topping my list? My health. (Surprise!) In the whirlwind of professional responsibilities and the festive frenzy, our well-being often takes a back seat. So, how can we weave wellness seamlessly into our daily routines? I wanted to dive into 5 practical strategies that I employ and that even the busiest of women can embrace.

1. Finding Micro-Moments of Mindfulness

In the hustle and bustle, finding time for an hour-long meditation might is impossible. Instead, I sprinkle small doses of mindfulness throughout my day. What can it look like for you? Take a deep breath before entering a meeting, savor your morning coffee mindfully, or appreciate the warmth of sunlight during a quick break. These micro-moments can do wonders for your mental well-being.

2. Tap into Deskercise – Move Without Missing a Beat

Who says you can't squeeze in a workout during your workday? I try desk exercises to keep my body active. Simple stretches, seated leg lifts, or even a quick stroll during lunch can add up. It's not about fitting into a specific fitness routine; it's about keeping your body moving amidst your busy schedule.

3. Tech Detox Before Bed

Our screens can be relentless, especially for us in the digital world. I create a tech-free zone at least 30 minutes before bedtime. I use this time to unwind – read a book or jot down my thoughts, It's a small change that can significantly improve the quality of your sleep.

4. Nourish the Body – Mindful Eating

Amidst back-to-back appointments and meetings, it's tempting to grab whatever is convenient. But what if we approached eating as a moment to nourish our bodies? Even if it's a quick meal, savor each bite. Be present with your food – it's a form of self-care that doesn't demand extra time.

Efficient time management is key and scheduling wellness activities is no exception. I treat these appointments with the same level of importance as work meetings, recognizing that they contribute to my overall health and productivity.
